  How To Create A Waterfall Braid

Waterfall braids are a lovely spin on the classic French braid. Start your braid as you would a French braid and braid 3 or 4 sections of hair. Next, to create the waterfall effect, drop the section of hair that you’ve crossed over, and pick up a new section from below. Continue this new braiding method until you’ve completed a finished your waterfall braid, and secure with elastic.

 

Waterfall braids are especially pretty when you place two on either side of your head!
