A Tail of Sorts: Great Ponytail Ideas for the Summer

Ponytails are great alternative to styling your hair during the summer. Whether it's to workout or clean the house, ponytails serve as a quick way to deal with managing your hair. Then trace a diagonal line from that point to the crown. Take it any lower than the crown and it can look dorky. Braid It Up - Put your hair in a ponytail. Spray the tail with dry shampoo or dry texturizing spray then braid the ponytail. A quick note, if you don't have bangs, simply comb your hair back with your fingers to keep the hair at the crown soft. Twist It Around -  To create a French twist-slash-ponytail, gather all the hair into a low ponytail and begin twisting the hair to the right to create a roll, stopping when the roll reaches the nape of the neck so the ends stick out the bottom.
